The words “Classical Music” start off wrong

In his forthcoming new book, "Listen to This," music writer Alex Ross starts off by declaring that he hates "classical music." Not the thing but the name. It's a shocking statement, to be sure, but as a rallying cry, it's perfect, condemning how easy it is to cordon off an art form meant for everyone.
