Stepson arrested for burglary after trying to steal clarinet

Like I keep saying, clarinet is a dangerous influence!

BURGLARY, MASTICK ROAD: At about 2:30 p.m. Friday, police responded to a report that a resident’s stepson, who was under a temporary protection order from the Rocky River Municipal Court, kicked in the back door to the house. When officers arrived, they saw the stepson heading over the embankment into the Metroparks. Other officers took him into custody by Valley Parkway. Officers determined that the 19-year-old man broke into his parents’ home and got into a fight with his father in an effort to retrieve his clarinet. He had the clarinet in his hands when police stopped him. Officers arrested the man and charged him with felony burglary. He was transferred to county jail that afternoon.
